Water gardening is easier than it looks

Aquatic plants have evolved to be survivors in wet
situations—many of them hardy to zone 4.

| Snell Farm offers established water plants for sale: hardy water lilies for depths of up to 3 feet and lotus plants for 18 inches of water. There are lots of plants for the “marginal” areas of the ponds, giving texture and variation to the water garden, and habitat for birds, dragonflies, and amphibians. |
