Herbs
| We grow 50 varieties of herbs for sale as plants. Most are perennial plants which will last for many years in your garden, including thymes, sages, lavender, rue, nepeta, and others. Rosemary can withstand some cold weather but will not last through our zone 4 winter. It can, however, be wintered inside. Some herbs like parsley, dill, and basil are annuals. |

Basil, by far the most popular of our herbs, is very tender, and cannot be planted successfully until June.
|
We sell bunches of cut basil all summer for making into pesto or other tasty concoctions. If you are planning a major pesto project, give us a call to order our bag of loose basil.
